Stunna Girl received support online from fans and fellow rappers alike following the incident, with City Girls star JT among them.
“Even though I sent my love in real life, I wanna publicly say I’m praying for you! You’re such a raw & talented girl to me. God gave you a 2nd chance do right with it! Love you @realstunnagirl,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
The shooting is not the first violent incident that Stunna Girl (real name Suzanne Brown) has been involved in this year.
Footage of the incident showed a man in the front row grabbing the rapper’s ass, which led to a multi-person brawl inside the venue.
The footage also showed Stunna Girl’s husband, fellow rapper RichMula500, confronting the culprit they think groped the Baddies star.
The two men were then seen standing nose to nose before someone else grabbed the fan by the neck and dragged him to the floor as punches began flying.
Stunna Girl then got involved herself, kicking and stomping the man several times while wearing high heel shoes as he lied on the floor.
After getting up off the ground, the man threw a chair at another attacker before taking several blows and being forced to protect himself on the ground.
Stunna Girl later addressed the incident online, saying: “In reality, I really could have him in jail right now for sexual assault. But I ain’t even put bruh in jail.
“And not only that [but] he went on the internet, he DMed me like 50 times, popping it. Like, ‘Yeah bitch, I did this, I did that.’ He posted it. He posted captions, acting hard, saying what he did.
“Like, you can’t be a gangster, pervert, rat. Like, you gotta pick one.”
