In the summer of 2013, Vietnamese street artist Liar Ben and French street artist Sautel Cago embarked on the biggest street art tour throughout the whole country of Vietnam. Along the way, over 15 Vietnamese artists joined them in their journey to paint the walls of Vietnam. In 2 months, they traveled by bus and train to 9 cities in North, Central and South Vietnam and painted a total of 23 walls. The cities they visited were Hanoi, U Min, Sadec, Ca Mau, Saigon, Dalat, Hue, Hai Phong, and Sa Pa.
Check out some videos and photos from their trip below. From the reactions of people in the cities, it's clear that street art is still a young and new concept to the people in Vietnam. For whatever reason–whether it's language, cultural or economic barriers–we don't receive too many emails from street artists in Asia. So it's exciting to see the street art movement reaching all parts of the globe. For more videos, visit their YouTube channel here.
