Serato DJ 3.1 adds integrated accessory control of Serato Stems

This new update to Serato DJ has been in the mix for a bit, but this week Serato fully released Serato DJ 3.1. This new update means that owners of Official Serato Accessories (list below) can quickly and easily control Serato Stems as a pad mode, no need for a custom MIDI mapping. DJs gain direct control over Vocal, Melody, Bass, and Drums Stems buttons, as well as Stem Pad FX.

Serato DJ Pro OSAs include the following units:

CDJs/Media Players: Denon DJ LC6000, SC5000, SC6000, SC5000M, SC6000M; Pioneer DJ CDJ-2000, CDJ-2000NXS, CDJ-2000NXS2, CDJ-3000
MIDI Turntables: RANE TWELVE, TWELVE MKII; Reloop RP8000, RP8000 MKII
MIDI Controllers: AKAI Pro AFX; Pioneer DJ DDJ-SP1, DDJ-XP2; Reloop Neon

This new 3.1 update is a free update, naturally, for Serato DJ Pro, available here. It also fully supports the latest version of macOS 14 Sonoma, although we recommend always waiting at least a few months before updating your computer to a new OS.
