Not many people in the west are aware of it, but South Africans are the biggest consumers of house music in the world. This fact has had a great impact on the local music scene, and Johannesburg’s Mi Casa are among the brightest shining stars around. Now releasing their 2014 hit “Turn You On” on the European market, the group has taken help from Swedish up-and-comers La Décadance for an exclusive remix, and the result is this fine soul-soaked creation. It is a beautifully crafted piece of music, and considering the fact that this collaboration involves one group from the very north of Europe and one from the southernmost tip of Africa makes me appreciate it even more… It is an exciting world we live in, and I hope we get to see more collaborations of this kind.
