Kid Cudi’s Insane New Head Tattoo Takes Fans Inside His Mind

Kid Cudi has welcomed fans inside his “dreamland” with a new tattoo that covers the entirety of his head.

The Cleveland native, who already has a number of striking tattoos on his body, unveiled arguably his boldest one yet on Tuesday (April 2).

The Man on the Moon rapper took to social media to share photos of his new ink, which was done by famed tattoo artist Doctor Woo and is located squarely on the top of his shaved skull.

The detailed artwork appropriately centers around a space theme, with Saturn, stars and a galaxy sitting above mountain peaks.

“A view into my mind… @_dr_woo_,” Cudder wrote in his caption. “2 sessions, 12hrs total. This was something id been wantin to do for some years. My Dreamland, my world, my place, where all is right and peaceful.”

He added: “MAD CRAZY love to THE GENIUS, my brother Woo for always makin time and holding me down. U FUCKIN SNAPPED.”

The full head tattoo is an extension of some ink Kid Cudi revealed at the beginning of March, which depicts a crown of flowers that runs from temple to temple.

This is far from the first time that Cudi has had a tattoo done by Doctor Woo. Previous pieces include his late dog Freshie and Kurt Cobain, along with a solar theme on the back of one hand and a skeleton on the back of the other.

Los Angeles-based Doctor Woo, who boasts over 1.7 million Instagram followers, has a long list of celebrity clients including Drake and Dr. Dre.

Drizzy got a portrait of his father Dennis Graham in 2014, as well as a lion head the following year.

Dre got matching wrist tattoos with his son Truice Young in 2020 while in the middle of his messy divorce from Nicole Young.

“Just got matching tattoos with my son @truiceyoung,” the producer wrote on Instagram at the time. “It’s in the DNA. California Love!!”

On the music side, Kid Cudi released his latest album INSANO in January, which was followed by INSANO (NITRO MEGA) the following month.

The projects follwed up 2022’s Entergalactic, which was accompanied by an award-winning animated Netflix special of the same name.
