Juste Debout, the international street dance competition is to take a break for two years whilst Bercy, the stadium where the world finals take place, undergoes renovations.
The event will not take place after the 2014 world finals for two years, as opposed to finding a new temporary venue. The renovated Bercy stadium is expected to be completed by October 2015.
Cancellation of the 2015 Juste Debout world finals will mean the 2015 international qualifiers will also not take place, though given the re-opening time of the stadium, a late 2015 qualifier process may start ahead of a 2016 event.
Bercy renovations will allow the stadium to expand from a capacity of 17,000 to 20,000 seats.
Besides the Juste Debout dance competitions, organisers of the event will continue to run the popular Juste Debout School, based in Montreuil, outside Paris, Dance Delight choreography showcases, and the Junior Dance Tour.
