not as good as me and im using two old alba hifis.
classic…
Gemini 220!
Miz had that typical Philly funk style cuts, shit is hot.
MIZ WAS 19 IN THIS VIDEO
:)))
Thank you very much for this information, sir! 😉
damn i almost forgot how damn bad mizz was, not tht im comparing but tht
was a dj contest in its’ own and it was a tie here on youtube d.m.c.
DJ Miz was awesome!!! Thanks for posting this!!!
@StreetLinkRadio agreed .i was about 13-14 when I saw this . this made me
want the whole dj setup but my parents didn’t buy it.and beleive me ,the
albums my moms had at that time could’ve got a good start.

@bettercall2 you’re welcome! thanks 4 viewing!
I been waiting all my life to see this again !!!
I may be wrong, but I think he was just “Dre” while he was producing for
N.W.A. and his partner or someone was called Doctor or Doc. Then once Doc
fell off Dre became Dr. Dre and produced his own album (again, I didn’t
check up my facts before writing this, but I know that’s vaguely correct)
No this is Doctor Dre from Yo Mtv Raps, i remember Doctor Dre as far back
as 1986 with his Group Original Concept! I still have their album on Vinyl
and they had another turntablist called Easy G Rockwell who was a Dj World
Class champ in 1985 but i am not sure about the competition he competed in?
Dre was also a dj for the Beastie Boys at one point early on in their
career.
actually that’s Miz’s mixer a Gemini MX 2200…
And he was robbed in the DMC battle in the same year!! Crazy. You’ve gotta
feel sorry for the guy. Cash Money won both battles, and he has been
touring the world ever since.
Both were good but Alladin was at least his equal on the tables; however
Alladin had the strongest presence hands down but it was a Eastcoast event.
You do the math!
that year west coast got robbed homie! i can understand CASH over JOE
COOLEY, but come on! MIZ records were always skippin! ALADDIN was near
perfect! he was the first cat to slow down his records and actual do a beat
juggle! MIZ could transform good but what else? the only thing semi new he
did was the 1,2 beat juggle style which even in his routines skipped too
dam much! I saw the whole 89 seminar battle!
Wonder what aladdin is up to now. He was the best on the turntables. And
also this was when mtv played music. They should not be allowed to call
themselfs music television no more.
Aladdin was only 17/18 in this clip. Does anyone know how old Miz was?
thank you and i definitely have that record!
Now look that is wut im saying right here on this vid. some say aladdin was
the best…some say mizz, aladdin wasfuckin’ it up on one turntable with
his mouth behind the back on one beat he slowed down, that was cavy right
there. Mizz tore up that jack the ripper! Philly and L.A. in the heezy
there. and if anyone ask me…(which they didn’t) that was the battle that
wasn’t…people just made it into a battle. But if it was that was
definitely EQUAL!!!!
Easy G. Rockwell won the NMS battle, didn’t he? I think he beat Barry B.
from Doug E. Fresh’s Get Fresh Crew in the final round.
Imagine the farts in da sofa
not as good as me and im using two old alba hifis.
