Graz in Austria is an ancient and beautiful city steeped in history. Which is why it’s all the more exciting to find amongst its cliffside castles and gorgeous architecture, a crew of incredibly progressive producers charting the next chapters in electronic music’s own history.
d:enigma is a relatively new producer bursting out of the Graz scene, and he’s linked up with alllone, a trio of producers from Graz and nearby Vienna, for the title track to his debut VALE EP, virtual self. Fans have already heard the halftime of “Parasite,” but today we bring you the EP’s title track.
The quickest way to my heart is the Amen Break, and this tune jumps right in, putting a little twist on it for the intro. It then plunges into some insanely left-field halftime, which is also right up my alley, so you can say I’m the perfect candidate for trying this EP on for size.
These four tracks are out on Audius, BandCamp, and SoundCloud this Thursday, February 4th, and then it hits the wider DSPs on February 11th.
