It’s been a busy couple of months for the Bricksquash boys. Resonant Language and Cloud D released their Skreet Force One remixes featuring Integrate, Seppa, and Eazybaked x Vide. And now they’re getting in on the production fun.
Taking on one of their favorite tunes from West Coast Bass pioneer Minnesota, the Bricksquash remix of “Reality” is a holy hoodrat halftime terror. You can hear each of the guys’ contributions to the mix with their hallmark high-frequency harmonic wubs. The major hot-button issue of the day isn’t who’s ghost produced by who or fights over billing—it’s who gets to drop the latest Bricksquash banger in their DJ sets. The more bass acts fight, the more Bricksquash wins.
Speaking of winning, flying the face of the recommendations of 4 out of 5 dentists, we decided to schedule a Bricksquash sunrise set at The Untz Festival. This seems like a dangerous and frankly reckless decision, and I’m not sure if any of us can truly anticipate the chaos that will ensue, but hey: we like to keep things fresh.
