Will Smith isn’t about to be outdone by his children. Will’s out here hittin’ the late night circuit hard. With an upcoming dive back into the music world (maybe), and with and a new movie on the way, he’s got much to talk about. The latest stop had Will choppin’ it up with David Letterman on The Late Show. THEESatisfaction – EarthEE [LP Stream]
If you come around these parts often, you’re more than aware that we’re quite THEE fans of Seattle duo, THEESatisfaction. We’ve been not so patiently waiting for an extended listen to their new LP, EarthEE, after we were sucked in by a few of their outer-worldly sounding singles. Luckily we won’t have to wait another week, as the EarthEE LP is available for playback now via NPR. The project has features from Shabazz Palaces, Meshell Ndegeocello, Taylor Brown, Porter Ray, Erik Blood, and more. Head over to NPR to hear what the QueenS have been cookin’ up. EarthEE drops on
TiRon & Ayomari “My Supernova” feat. Anderson Paak
While we wait for the next TiRon & Ayomari album, The Great New Wonderful (said to be coming in the summer), we take it back to their 2011 LP right quick, A Sucker For Pumps. TiRon & Ayomari will be re-releasing ASFP later this month in limited edition cassette format. The updated version will feature some previously unreleased bonus cuts, like this jawn right here. T&A appropriately drop something for the lovers today, “My Supernova” featuring Anderson Paak. The post TiRon & Ayomari “My Supernova” feat. Anderson Paak appeared first on Okayplayer.
Fashawn “Ladies”
Before I sign out, lemme drop off this new joint from Fashawn. We’ve been waiting awhile for word on his upcoming sophomore LP, The Ecology, but the joints he’s dropped in between time have been tough (make sure you check “The Beginning”). For today’s drop, Fash’s producer/manager, Hecktik, chops a Lee Fields sample while the Fresno emcee waxes poetic on the strong women in his life – check it, below. Artwork: Stromberg.
