“Concentrated Forces” is a collaborative EP between Atlanta word-smith Ed Rowe, Nebraska rapper Sleep Sinatra and New Zealand based hip-hop producer Concept that dropped back on December 20, 2014 via Essenchill Records. DJ DL – Soul Movement I and II
I had these mixes on my laptop from nearly two months before having time to give them a listen. Coming from a Bboy perspective both volumes contain extremely funky grooves from Funk and Soul and with a few Hip Hop tunes . Definitely worth a place in your mix collection. Sareem Poems & Imperial – God Bless the Child (Soulseize remix)
The third remix released by Illect Recordings and Soulseize. With a more jazzy feel “God Bless the Child” remix is a bit different than his previous work yet still retains that solid boom bap sound Soulseize is known for. Interview with DUS and Eloh Kush
So I'm going to post up something a little different than the norm for "The Essence of Rap and Hip-Hop" in the form of an interview I conducted with two New Jersey based hip-hop artists, DUS and Eloh Kush. As you all know, I mainly focus on writing reviews and such on this site, but the opportunity presented itself to get the word out about these two artists and I just couldn't pass that up. So, without further ado, check out the interview below.Read more »
