Drake’s Toronto Mansion Breeds More Drama As Man Attempts To Trespass

Toronto, ON –

Drake‘s mansion in Toronto has attracted more trouble just a day after a shooting near the property left his bodyguard severely injured.

On Wednesday (May 8), TMZ reported that a man was stopped right as he attempted to make his way into the Bridle Path neighborhood residency that is commonly known as “The Embassy.”

Law enforcement was alerted after the Canadian superstar’s security team stopped the person from entering through the front gate, following which he got into a brief altercation with those who stopped him — he apparently claimed that he was “here to see Drake”

“Officers were called after a person attempted to gain access to the property,” a Toronto Police Department representative told XXL. “The person was apprehended under the mental health act.”

The news arrives in the aftermath of Drizzy’s heated back-and-forth with Kendrick Lamar over the past weekend as part of their ongoing rap beef, though a connection between the incidents at his home and said feud have yet to be proven.

Earlier this week, the 6 God’s house was at the center of a police investigation after shots were fired near the property, leaving one person injured.

Rolling Stone subsequently confirmed that the victim was the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker’s security guard, who suffered a gunshot wound to his upper chest — he was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery soon after being found unconscious.

The assailant, who has yet to be identified, is believed to have fled the scene in a vehicle.

A photo of the authorities closing the street outside the property in question has been making the rounds on social media. Other images revealed that officers taped off the rapper’s front door.

The OVO Sound boss himself was not injured during the incident, which is believed to have been a drive-by shooting.

The mansion was recently used as fodder in the aforementioned war of words, with the Compton rapper using a satellite picture of it as the cover art for “Not Like Us.”

The image was peppered with several red markers that resemble the ones from sex predator apps as the “Alright” MC accused his rival and his associates of being pedophiles on the song.

“Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young/ You better not ever go to cell block one/ To any bitch that talk to him and they in love/ Just make sure you hide your lil’ sister from him,” he spits. “And Baka [Not Nice] got a weird case, why is he around?/ Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles.”
