Two Floridians make their way to our feed today with a soaring song for summer. David Steren, a.k.a. Dropkick, out of Clearwater, teams up with Adam Brubaker, better known as DeemZoo, from Tampa.
Both acts have really leaned into a smooth, psychedelic, bass-infused hip-hop sound, and the union of their styles results in “Everblooming.” Stirring synth runs and fluttering drums are the hallmark of this track. It has the beautiful elements that make a track feel fuller, while still delivering the bass we crave.
Repped by The Gradient Perspective crew, Dropkick is landing up on more and more festival and club dates. DeemZoo is also pushing out more into the show world. The infectious nature of their sets is starting to find a foothold in the bass community, and songs like this that show their versatility are only going to increase the demand for their performances.
