As many of you know we lost the founder and creator of The Bboy Spot, David “Mex One” Alvarado. Mex was a huge part of our culture and always cared about community first. He cared so much for the people and made a positive impact on many lives. Through out the past several weeks, so many people have reached out to share their stories of the impact Mex had in their lives. The support has been incredible! It’s amazing to see how one person can make a difference in our community. That alone is a huge inspiration to continue to do the same in our own lives to make this world a better place. Many of you have asked what will be the future of The Bboy Spot? With the blessing of Mex’s family, I (Felix) will continue the legacy along with the help of many of our close friends and family. Our goal will be to continue to help better our community and to uplift each other as Mex did for so many. The Bboy Spot has always been By The Community For The Community. We will now feel the true meaning of this as we move forward and continue to preserve and grow the culture that has given us so much.
