One of the many benefits of learning to DJ at Point Blank is that you get the chance to have your mixes played exclusively on Pioneer DJ Radio, alongside the likes of top artists such as Silicone Soul, Jimpster and Josh Wink. PDJR also features shows from some of the biggest and best labels including Compost Black, Suara and Toolroom, so you never know who might be listening! Every fortnight we feature the very best mixes from our students that get played to an audience of thousands on Pioneer’s very own radio station.
The latest mix to be featured on Pioneer DJ Radio is an hour of fluid drum ‘n’ bass from HarryReds. He completed our DJ course after studying Intro to Music Production with us, which forms part of our Music Production & Sound Engineering Master Diploma. Since then thanks to his accomplished DJ skills, Harry has seen bookings come flying in and has played gigs all over the UK, including Reading and London. He’s also working hard in the studio at the moment honing his skills, so watch this space for new music coming from HarryReds! On his time at PB, Harry said: “I found the DJ course through researching on the internet, and signed up after already completing an Introduction to Music Production course with Point Blank. I found Ben Bristow to be a great tutor and I learnt loads from the course and enjoyed his teaching. He’s a great guy! I had a really good time at Point Blank and enjoyed meeting lots of new people with similar interests.”
