Radar Music Videos – Paid Business Development Role

Radar Music Videos currently have a brilliant paid role on offer for the right candidate, which would suit a Point Blank Music Business course graduate. They’re looking for a pleasant, confident person with excellent product manager and label manager contacts at indie and major record labels and management companies, to help them grow their music video commissioning business. The role will also involve scouting for talented new music video directors, so will suit someone who is really on the ball and proactive in their work. The job is based predominantly around creating e-mail campaigns, and overseeing Radar’s customer relationship management.

Experience in business to business sales or marketing is a defnite plus, as is experience creating and managing successful e-mail campaigns. The role is 29 hours per month, preferably carried out in 2 block sessions per week, with one those based at Radar’s central London office.

Surya London – Bands & DJs Wanted

Are you in a band and looking for gig opportunities? Well then you’re in luck because Surya London want bands to play shows on March 25th and 31st! Surya is offering half hour slots during midweek gigs that are ideal for testing out new material or varying line-ups. If you’re interested, ping Surya an e-mail. The tech specification for the venue can be found on page 8 of their venue pack.

Surya is also currently taking an increasing amount of bookings for club nights, so budding DJs and producers should take note too. It’s the only venue in King’s Cross with a 4am licence on weekends, and 2am-3am on weekdays.
