Former NFL safety Darren Sharper and his attorneys, Leonard Levine and Blair Berk appear in a Los Angeles Superior courtroom on Thursday (February 20) in California.
The 38 year-old plead not guilty to charges of allegedly drugging and raping two women he met at a West Hollywood nightclub last October.
The judge set his next court date for April 15 and because of the severity of the charges – his bail has been increased from $200,000 to $1 million. If convicted, Sharper could face more than 30 years in prison.
In related news, it looks like he has been investigated in the past for similar incidents in New Orleans and Las Vegas. Smdh!
