Meet Les Professionnels out of Philadelphia. 3 dudes holding it down with classy nu-disco sounds topped off with a nod to energetic italo sounds. For Valentine’s Day they dropped a remix for Kenna, a singer and producer from Virginia who has previously worked with Childish Gambino.
Kenna’s voice echoes throughout the tune like an 80s rock ballad while Les Prof’s energetic bassline drives the the track along. Les Prof kind of bill themselves into the cosmic side of nu-disco and it’s very evident here with hypnotic synths pulsing about with tripped-out guitar squelches.
